Garden Republic
Garden Republic operates in a competitive home gardening category, a CPG-adjacent market projected to grow from ~$15.8 billion globally in 2025 to ~$26.5 billion by 2034. As the category matures, the brands that scale are those able to move beyond functional utility and compete across gifting, seasonal relevance, and retail-led discovery. Through a phased repositioning from 2022, a 2023 rebrand and a 2025 identity and commerce refresh, Garden Republic shifted from functional indoor gardening to a giftable, lifestyle-led proposition.
A relevance gap, closed.
New SKUs launched, building a scalable multi-SKU portfolio
Mass-market retail partnerships secured
Commerce ecosystem established across Amazon & DTC
Category projected by 2034 (from ~$15.8B in 2025)
Full brand and packaging system rebuilt to support mass-market retail scale, with CRM and lifecycle frameworks implemented for long-term growth.
A relevance gap, not a product gap.
As consumer behavior evolved, a utility-led brand narrative constrained consideration and slowed momentum in a category increasingly shaped by gifting, aesthetics, and lifestyle-driven purchase decisions.
The challenge was to reassert clarity and commercial relevance, repositioning the offer as a giftable, evergreen proposition able to accelerate velocity, support portfolio expansion, and enable long-term scale.
From self-use utility to gifting.
Shifting the narrative from self-use utility to gifting, seasonal relevance, and lifestyle appeal expanded consideration well beyond core gardening audiences.
That reframing enabled broader SKU architecture, modular packaging systems, and stronger alignment with retail merchandising and gifting calendars, creating the conditions for faster velocity, portfolio expansion, and omnichannel scale.

From utility-first to gift-led discovery.
A phased Amazon and DTC evolution: lighter tones, clearer hierarchy, and lifestyle cues, realigning the experience around giftability and discovery while keeping category authority.

Lighter, warmer, built to gift.
The existing identity relied on darker, instructional cues that reinforced a functional, hobbyist mindset. To support gifting, lifestyle relevance, and retail-led discovery, the brand evolved toward a lighter, more contemporary system: warmth, space, and clarity that broaden appeal and perform across digital and physical retail.
The 2023 rebrand established the foundation. The 2025 refresh modernized execution across Amazon and Shopify and held consistency across an expanding portfolio.

A scalable visual ecosystem.
Content built not as one-off campaigns but as a system, designed to flex across Amazon PDPs, Shopify, CRM, paid media, and retail, balancing commercial clarity with lifestyle aspiration. Directed and produced end to end.

A portfolio built to merchandise.
Packaging designed as a modular system rather than a set of one-offs: consistent architecture across the range, clear tiering between products, and structure that reads at shelf and at thumbnail size.
